Question: Who is Northern Leasing Systems, Inc.?
Answer: Northern Leasing Systems, Inc. is the company that leases you equipment as per your lease agreement.


Question: How may I obtain a copy of the lease agreement?
Answer: Just call the lease request hotline at 888-275-3251.


Question: How will I pay my lease payments?
Answer: All payments will be deducted via Automatic Clearing House (ACH) from your business checking account.


Question: When will this ACH take place?
Answer: On the first of every month or the fifteenth of every month.


Question: Why is the ACH amount different from the amount written on the lease?
Answer: The ACH amount includes your basic monthly payment, Sales/Use tax and an equipment Loss and Damage Waiver (LDW) fee (where applicable).


Question: What is the Loss and Damage Waiver?
Answer: As per the lease agreement, the Lessee is required to keep the equipment insured for loss and/or damage and the Lessee must provide NLSI with evidence of the existence of this insurance by delivering to NLSI a certificate of insurance issued by the Lessee’s insurance carrier.

Should the Lessee fail to deliver to NLSI a certificate of insurance, the Lessee will be required to purchase a Loss and Damage Waiver and a monthly fee will be charged for that waiver until the certificate is provided to NLSI. Under the Loss and Damage Waiver, NLSI will waive the Lessee’s responsibility for keeping the Equipment fully insured. Full details describing this waiver may be found in the Lease Agreement.


Question: I have changed my bank account, what do I do?
Answer: Please fax a copy of your check with your lease number to Customer Service Dept @ (212)760-0273.


Question: If the equipment breaks down, who would repair the equipment?
Answer: If the equipment is under the manufacture warranty, please contact the manufacturer. If there is no warranty, call the manufacturer or call Northern Leasing Systems, Inc. to direct you to a repair company.


Question: Can I cancel my lease?
Answer: No, the lease is non-cancelable, but can be prepaid or transferred (subject to approval) at any time.


Question: Is the lease transferable?
Answer: Subject to approval, the lease may be transferred. Please contact Customer Service at 888-275-3251 for the appropriate documents.
